Two Coin Unc Year Set

International Year of Astronomy
Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences and in 2009 we celebrate globally the 400th anniversary of Galileo Galilei’s first astronomical observation through a telescope.
The vision of the International Year of Astronomy is helping people rediscover their place in the universe with a strong emphasis on education, public engagement and involvement from young people of all communities.
Following on from the success of the 2008 year sets, the Royal
Australian Mint releases the new 2009 themed $1 and a 20 cent coin
design that will feature in the two coin set and six coin set in both
uncirculated and proof finishes.
An affordable way of owning the uncirculated International Year
of Astronomy themed $1 coin and the 2009 Platypus 20 cent piece.
